Calico Heritage Enrichment Inc. was established in 2013 to bridge the gap between heritage and opportunity — expanding access to agriculture, leadership exposure, and community engagement for underserved youth while honoring military families.

Our Story
Founder, Pat Hooper, recognized that access to agriculture, leadership exposure, and opportunity was not equally available to all communities. Rather than accept that gap, he committed to building pathways that would preserve heritage while expanding opportunity for future generations.
What began as a vision rooted in service and community has grown into Calico Heritage Enrichment Inc. — an organization dedicated to empowering underserved youth through education and culturally rooted events, while standing beside military families with respect and support.
Calico exists to ensure that legacy is honored, access is expanded, and opportunity is no longer limited by circumstance.
Why It matters
Access creates opportunity. When youth are exposed to agricultural industries and leadership pathways, their confidence and futures expand. When military families are supported and recognized, communities grow stronger.
