Our Story

Founder, Pat Hooper, recognized that access to agriculture, leadership exposure, and opportunity was not equally available to all communities. Rather than accept that gap, he committed to building pathways that would preserve heritage while expanding opportunity for future generations.

This year marks the 45th Annual James Hooper Memorial Juneteenth Rodeo in Longview, TX. It will be a culturally rooted celebration of heritage and community through rodeo. The evening features competitive rodeo events and live music by Marcellus The Singer, bringing families together in a meaningful celebration of legacy.

Gregg County Historical Museum

The Gregg County Historical Museum included am exhibit displaying images, leatherworks, buckles and more in honor of the cowboy for Black History Month.
